Candle Care + Safety
Our candles are hand poured, and not massed produced. Sometimes you'll notice darker patches or "wet spots" in your container candles this is not a fault, but simply a small area where the wax has not adhered to the glass 100% - called Frosting.

When lighting your candle for the first time, allow it to burn for at least 2 hours or until the wax has melted all the way to the edge of the glass, this will create a candle imprint and prevents tunneling.
Wax has a memory (seriously it does) it will always burn up to the radius of the last burn.

- Always keep the wick trimmed to 1/4" before each burn to ensure your candle is burning gently & keep your wax pool free of debris.
- We recommend burning no longer than 3-4 hours at a time and stop burning when only 1/4" of wax remains.
- Candles get lonely too (not really), but NEVER leave your candles unattended and always place away from children, pets and drafts (and if you're like me, never wrap Christmas presents near a lit candle - long story).
All done with your candle? Don't throw it out just yet!
Your jar can be cleaned with hot soapy water & reused around the home as you like. I like to keep cotton balls & Q-tips in mine or maybe you'll finally find a place for all those lose pens in the kitchen drawer.
